JEE Main 2015 is due in April 2015. Though the dates for JEE Advanced 2015 (24 May 2015) has been issued by IITs, CBSE has not issued any notification regarding JEE Main 2015.
Joint Entrance Examination
JEE stands for Joint Entrance Test. Earlier AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam) and IIT-JEE was conducted for intake of candidates into engineering courses. In 2012, AIEEE and JEE-IIT was merged as JEE. Now JEE has two papers under it. One is JEE Main- through which candidates are provided admission in various colleges across the nation and another is JEE Advanced- candidates who qualify this exam are receive admission in prestigious colleges like IITs and ISM Dhanbad.
JEE Main 2015- Conducting Body
CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education functions under Union Government of India. It conducts some of the major examination like All India Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and JEE Main. It is regarded as one of the largest examination conducting body in the world.

JEE Main 2015
Universities and Colleges, in almost every state, will consider scores of JEE Main 2015 to provide admission to candidates in B.Tech and B.E. courses. Tentatively, the exam would be held in April 2015 but nothing can be confirmed till Official Brochure of JEE Main 2015 is issued. Official Bulletin is due shortly, most probably will be issued till end of November 2014. Participating institutes include – NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and SFTIs and other state Universities.

JEE Main 2015 – Reservation and Quota
Reservation of seats under JEE Main 2015 is as per Government of India. It on certain percentage of seats are reserved for under-represented and backward classes. According to it seat are reserved as:
- 15% seats are reserved for Schedule Caste candidates
- 7.5% seats are reserved for Schedule Tribe candidates
- 27% seats are reserved for OBC (NCL) candidates
- 3% seats are reserved for PwD candidates
