As per the latest CBSE notification regarding JEE Main 2014 exam, the following article has been updated. The JEE 2014 Application Form can be filled only ONLINE.

Candidates have to submit all the relevant documents/certificates by uploading scanned images of them while filling the JEE Main 2014 Online Application Form. They are required to scan the documents as mentioned in JEE Main 2014 brochure in proper resolution and upload them in the allotted space in the form. No document must be sent to the JEE Main office for verification.

To apply for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), candidates are required to fill the JEE Main 2014 Application Form. The form can be filled from 15 November 2013 online on the official site of JEE Main. Last date to fill the form and submit it is 26 December 2013.

Highlights of JEE Main 2014 (Application) Admission Form

• This year, application form submission process has been limited to online mode only and the offline or physical mode of sending the form has been discarded.

• Fee and document submission process is made online as well and now candidates must NOT send the form and documents through post to apply.

• Also, candidates from Odisha and Maharashtra have to fill the JEE 2014 Application Form, since all the admissions in engineering courses in their respective states would now be made on the basis of JEE Main 2014.

Form Submission and Eligibility

Before filling the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria to check if they are valid to take the exam or not. Eligibility criteria defines some terms in aspects of age, educational qualification which determine if a candidate can apply for the exam.

Eligibility criteria of JEE Main differs from JEE Advanced and candidates must read them separately in order to avoid any confusion later on.

JEE MAIN 2014 Application Form Submission Process

Candidates can follow the procedure given below to fill the Application Form of JEE Main 2014 after assuring eligibility. They are advised to download the information bulletin and read it as well so as to not miss any important relevant information.

• Click the official site of JEE Main (www.jeemain.nic.in) and browse to “Apply Online” link.

• Fill in all the personal details (name, age, birth date, educational qualification, contact numbers etc.).

• Mention all the information regarding contact and communication correctly as it will be further used in all correspondences.

• Mark the options of course, exam center, exam mode and the option to apply for JEE Advanced 2014 as well.

• Upload scanned images of thumb impression, photograph and signatures in the spaces as asked. These images must be of legitimate resolution and abide by the standards as described.

• Pay examination fee through e-challan or credit/debit card to complete the JEE MAIN 2014 application form process.

• Verify all the details and submit the form.

• Download the acknowledgment slip and generate its printout to be preserved for future use.

Important Instructions

• A candidate is allowed only one form. Sending multiple forms will ultimately lead to rejection.

• If the qualifying exam result is to be declared after June 2014, it is advised that students belonging to such exam board, do not apply.

• The name to be filled in the form must be similar to that of Class XII.

• Any claim regarding JEE Main 2014 Application Form fee refund will not be entertained.

• Every communication and correspondence must be made in the name of “The Executive Director, JEE Main”.

Fee Submission Modes

To remit the form fee, candidates can either choose any of the following method:

• Credit/debit card
• E-challan

To deposit the fee through e-challan, candidates have to download the challan and submit it in any branch of Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank or ICICI Bank. Details of the fee in Indian National Rupee (INR) is given below:
